  Pretty Purple Princess
I have to admit the only reason I went to this page was to check out the purpleness of it *G* and boy was I suprised, it IS purple...I have only skimmed this page but think it's going to one of my faves....

  Ramblin
Well now that I finally have the email posting taken care of I might be able to do more ramblin....I just love being able to post when i want and where I want.

I look around at other blogs and a lot of them seem to be 'about' something. I just have nothing to really tell you, just normal boring info about my life or things that just pop into my head. I have to admit that my fave blog to read is by Wil Wheaton. For those non-trekkies out there, Wil Wheaton was on Star Trek:TNG as the teenage Wesley Crusher. Now to say that i've always been a die hard fan of his would be an out right lie, I was a fan of his when I watched TNG and then the few movies of his that I have seen I have always enjoyed. But reading his blog about his family and the joy he takes from watching his kids grow up is great. I also like to see what he's up to such as right now he is promoting two books that he has written, I have yet to purchase one but if they are anything like his blog, it should be pretty good reading.

I have to admit that i admired http://hunny-hive.com/ website, but it wasn't until i saw the photo blog that Wil Wheaton had that i even thought about getting my own blog of any type.

Okay, well I've rambled enough for now, and yes tonight or tomorrow I will post pictures of the game and the score *G*

*opps* sent my email to the wrong address heheheh...

  Checks
Have you ever had a picture that you wanted to see ALL the time.....well now there is a way to MAKE your picture into a check.... go to Checks in the Mail.com and you can make your own checks...this is just a sample of what I would look like as a check LOL

  Various
Today is Friday and work is pretty slow, so I that while I'm just sitting here waiting for the next call I'd just make a ramble on my blog.

There is nothing I like doing better at night than just searching for different websites. Like the message I posted with the copy of a 'check' with my picture on it. I was looking at the coupon's in last weeks Sunday paper (9/12) and tore out the page for the check website and while I was browsing all the different checks they offer I found the one where you can upload your own picture. Talk about cool!!! Just think, you put your own picture in the check, then when you go to buy things and they ask for a picture ID you just point to the check and say, Ummmm don't you think THAT looks like ME??? Hmmmm then raise your eyebrows at them Hehehehehe.

Have you ever looked at your initials? Like my name is Ruth Ann D and my initial are RAD, my sister who has no middle name is MD (when she got married, she was MM) and my niece is HAD, my mom and dad are both JAD. I have a cousin who is MAD. If I had married one of my ex-bf's I'd be RAA, or even RAF, I just don't think I could marry a man whose last name began with a G cause then I'd be, yeah, I know, RAG. What kind of words does your initials make? Or did you even think of that when you named your kids?

Hmmm what to make the next ramble ...

Baseball!!! Now I'm not some diehard fan that cannot live without seeing her team (the San Diego Padre's) on tv. But I have been enjoying the small rivalry between myself and a couple co-workers, we have C who just loves his Giants, and then we have R who would just about kill for his Dodgers. The best thing is that all three of us are passionate about our teams, but we can still have fun picking on each other about said teams... this also go for our football teams (me with the Charges, C with the Niner's and R with his Raiders) Now anyone who knows me, knows that I can't stand to watch sports on tv, but put me at a live game any time and I'm so into it. But lately with the wild card race going on, I'm so into seeing my Padre's...it doesn't matter who the player is, he's a Padre and that's all that matter...I know I'm gonna get some heat about that one...lol I can only tell you a few names of Padre's anyways...that being the more well known ones such as Kelsko, Nevin, and Trammel (I only know Trammel because one of my ex-bosses last name was Trammel LOL).

Football...now I briefly about mentions my Charges, the only player name that I even know is Jr Seau and he jumped ship last year and went to Florida (I think - I follow football less than I follow baseball). One that I have to say about Jr is that he opened some restaurants in San Diego (maybe other places also) and their food is just TO DIE FOR!!!! I had a chicken and steak teriyaki plate and the meat was so tender and the taste was great, it was like it just melted in your mouth...mmmm now I'm making myself hungry LOL. I highly recommend trying some food at a Seau's Restaurant if you have one in your area.

Well, I think I'm a little rambled out for now...I'm sure I'll come up with more to talk about later.

  Bunko
Well, Bunko was fun, as normal, I didn't win anything today. But the time out of the house and interacting with others is what the whole afternoon was about. If you don't know what bunko is go here. Now depending on where you live, some people spell it Bunko and some spell it Bunco, same game different letter is all. Also, every group has their own rules. In my monthly group we go to a top score at the 'head' table of 21, at the church fundraiser, the 'head' table goes to 23.

Bunko is a game that has been around for ... well....forever. From what I have read online, they even played bunko back in the 1800's this is from WorldBunko.com.

Well, it's the witching hour....you know, Midnight...ttfn

  Mr 3000
I LOVE going to movies...doesn't matter if I have someone to go with or if I just go alone.

Tonight I went and saw the movie Mr 3000 and I have to say that i feel it will follow in the lines of Major League...a truly great film that is going to be played over and over and over on those cable networks such as usa and tnt. I have to admit i've never really seen Bernie Mac in anything but loved him in this. Sorry, I won't give away anything from the movie...okay, I lied....Only thing I will say, is if you see it, you HAVE to watch for the butt crack LOL and when you see it, you'll know.

Last night I went and played Bingo, and GRRRR it drives me nuts that I've been going to the same place for over a year now, and I have NEVER won.....one time I was so close, the number on the tv was my number and people got bingo on the number before.....what can I say, i'm a glutton for punishment LOL

Tomorrow I'm going to be going and playing Bunko at a church who is raising money for a trip next summer to the Vatican (this is for their choir who is having an audience with the Pope and will be performing for him). Now I'm not Catholic but I do try to support as many 'fund raisers' as I can, and this is one of the cheaper ones I can find (only $10.00) and I have the potential to go home with a prize *g* .... Told dad knowing my luck I'd win the Weed Eater and we live in an apartment LOL

Well, it's midnight, suppose it's time for bed...ttfn

  Bad Blogger
What a bad blogger I have been, I forgot to post for 2 days....I thought itwas only 1 day but just realized it was actually 2 days, Please forgive me

Work has been somewhat disheartening lately, don't get me wrong, i love my job, but sometimes things get crazy with new changes and 10 different people interpreting the changes differently. Makes things very hectic. Too many changes, too many things going on with a boss that is only here 3 days a week and when she is here she's too busy worrying about her other offices to handle things for our office...almost 4 months since she took over and nothing has changed except dissatisfaction in what we do.

Sorry to be such a downer, just feeling down in the dumps this week. Trying to keep my spirits up knowing that my vacation is coming up in 70 days, hoping the flights you want don't fill up on ya....but knowing that the vacation is going to be well worth the trip.

*grins* hmmmm maybe on my vacation I can drag them off to Graceland again ... hehehe .... nawwww...just teasing, been there done that .....as they said last time I was there....

  GRRRRRRR
I am so fumming.....I used to be a member of the South Beach online website, but yesterday decided to resign up...try to get myself back on track etc...so they charges my debit cart the monthly charge of $6.95 then tonight I look at my bank stuff online, and it's now showing a charge of $45.05..WTF!!!! it looks to me like they are back billing me for the 6 and a half months I DID not have service with them...GRRRRR...I sent them an email stating if this is what they are doing, then to just credit me back my money and cancel my acct all togehter... I mean, how can they charge for something they didn't provide!!!! GRRRRR

I'll update you all when I hear from them....

UPDATED

I called them this am, and they tried to explain it to me and stated that it was a credit and not a charge, we'll see what happens with my checking acct balance...didn't make sense to me but then when i try to explain billing to my customer it doens't make sense either....lol basically what they said is that i got an email the other day regarding rejoining for $4 and that was a charge for weekly membership, but when they charged my card the other night they charged me for 6.95 (monthly rate) and that due to the $4.00 email they have a computer glitch that was supposed to charge me 52.00 and then credit 45.05 which is 6.95, but i was only charged 6.95 and then the credit of 45.05...you confused yet? LOL anyways, we'll see what happens in the long run.

  Lighten'd Picture
Even I had a hard time viewing my picture because it was so dark, hopefully this is lighter

  Games
I love playing games on line...as you can see from my weblinks on the side bar I have quite a few game site links.

My fave is It's your turn.com as I've mentioned in a previous posting. I love that I don't have to be on at the same time as the person i'm playing against and you can leave them messages also. So it's all good.

But I have to say that I also love Free Bingo.net . Here at Free Bingo.net it is free to play (hence the name) and you can win money. Now so far my acct has like $2.00 (woohoo) in it, but once it hits $15.00 you can request they send you a check. Every month or 2 months they change the contest and the top winners also get money (it varies per 'contest').

One of my soon to be new fave's, that is not on my side bar yet, is a link I found on Free Bingo and this one is called Bingo Tourney.com . This site does it all for you, all you do is set the 'prebuy' setting (this site is free and on the 1st of every month you get 5000 points) to how many cards you want and for how many games and for what "dollar" amount (I set mine at $1.00) and the site does everything for you, it daubs your cards and calls bingo when you get it....as the end of each month, the top people (5 I think) get money. Sounds cool to me

Well it's that time...time for me to head to bed....

  Star Struck
I hate to say that at 35 years old I still get star struck as if i was a 15 yr old in high school.

I was reading comments on one of my fave blogs this evening/morning and happed to see this as that signature line....

Posted by Keith Coogan at September 10, 2004 11:35 AM

Even if it wasn't the ACTOR Keith Coogan and just someone using his name to post with I still got a charge out of it.

LOL, Makes me remember the day I was at work and got a call from a customer who indicated his name was M. W. (he said his name, but I won't revele that), and I had to blurt out 'Are you the Tennis Player MW????" I have to admit that even thought I was talking to this genteman on the phone it still blew me away when he said "Yes, I am" I then had to go one and gush about how I used to love to go see him play in LA and in Indian Wells (near Palm Springs) and how I loved to root for him.

After I hung up, I felt so embarrassed for going on like some star struck kid....LOL

So anyways, if it was Keith Coogan who posted on the other blog yesterday, How awesome Dude.....still love seeing the movie Toy Soldiers when ever it's on TV.
Now that I'm done being the 15 yr old Star Struck geek that I am, I'm off to bed.

Updated

As it turned out it WAS Keith Coogan who posted on the other site, and He even posted a comment regarding this message when it was on my other blog that I am no longer maintaining ---moved everything to here--and Keith also was kind enough to send my neice an autograph picture.

  New Boots
Ray had always wanted a pair of authentic cowboy boots. Seeing some on sale one day, he buys them, and wears them home walking proudly.

He walks into the house and says to his wife: "Notice anything different about me?"

Bessie looks him over, "Nope."

Frustrated, Ray storms off into the bathroom, undresses, and walks back into the room completely naked except for the cowboy boots.

Again, he asks, a little louder this time, "Notice anything DIFFERENT NOW?" Bessie looks up and says,

"Ray, what's different? It's hanging down today, it was hanging down yesterday, and it'll be hanging down again tomorrow."

Furious, Ray yells, "AND DO YOU KNOW WHY IT IS HANGING DOWN, BESSIE? IT'S HANGING DOWN BECAUSE IT'S LOOKING AT MY NEW BOOTS!!!!!"

To which Bessie replies, "Shoulda bought a hat, Ray. Shoulda bought a hat."

  Please Pray
Our dear blog hostess Molli just found out her neice is missing. She and her mother have gone to see what has happened. It is suspected that she might have run away. Please pray for her and her family. Thank you! (posted by SwtHunnyB)

Update 2pm PST

We can't claim that the child is SMART for being almost 15, she took her tmobile phone with her and checked her email early during the day, so we were able to pinpoint what town she was in, and then she called her mother and told her mother what street she was on but not the town (she didn't know she had been tracked) and about 5 min later the police picked her up and brought her home. Thank you for you thoughts and prayers. RA

I had to get rid of Mozilla at work. So I looked at your site through Internet Explorer and realized the skins looked wacked! Especially the Roses one. All fixed now though. :)

Still when you go higher than 800x600, the graphics don't look as nice. Oh well. Can't please everyone.

  Navy Brats...
If you have never lived in a Military home you have no idea what is it like to make friends, only to loose them when your parent gets transfered somewhere else. Until I was 14 my dad was in the Navy and we lived in California (southern), Washington State and Hawaii. But we were never in on place more than 2 or 3 years.

Now this isn't always a bad thing, because you have a chance at a new start at a new school, no one knows the 'bad' things about you but then, they don't know the good things about you either. And loosing those friends from the old location is hard. Even when you try to keep in touch things happen and you just loose touch.

And now 20 years later through a small miracle called Classmates I have been 'tracked' down by a friend I had not heard from in over 20 years since she and I were both 15 (we kept in touch via letters for a short time after I moved). How exciting to say that I knew this person when they were 14 and they are technically my OLDEST friend!!!

Now that I now she only lives 3 hours from me or 90 miles from my sister, whose to say when we may see each other in person again. I am so excited and can't believe that I found (well I found her a year ago, but she finally found me *Grins*)

Isn't the internet the BOMB!!!!!

  Rodney
Poor Rodney, looked at my new page today and the first thing he said was "where is the link to MY page" .... Anyone who knows me knows how lazy I am and I just hadn't got around to putting his page on my links list. So Rodney, just for you, there is your link *points to Inquisitive Sci-Fi Monkey in links list*

I have known Rodney online since at LEAST 1998, and had the pleasure of meeting him in person in April of 2004. Even thought it was for less than 2 hours, I found Rodney to be a very nice guy, go check out his page, not that he posts on it much.....but then, I don't post on mine much either LOL

  FOOTBALL!!!!!
I KNOW football is NOT two words BUT when you’re trying to yell it you have to do things different….Why am I going on about football you ask? well if you remember reading a few weeks ago, I’m going to be heading up to San Francisco tomorrow night (9/2/04) to see MY San Diego Chargers play the San Francisco 49′ers.

Am I excited you ask? darn straight I am, this will be the first time I’ve ever gone to a pro football game in my life. We have 4 tickets on the 7th row from the field at the east endzone. and if your looking AT the goal post, it looks like we will be on the right side of it…so if you see 3 women trying to explain the game to a 14 yr old girl, you’ll know you found us LOL

Well I need to head to bed, i know this is earlier than normal but tomorrow is going to be a LONG day.

If I say it's Charming, then it has to be Charming, right? Right!! So come read along on my Charming blog.
